Thank you! As someone who is going through burnout right now, this one is gold 🫶🏻🥹

I’m very much an all or nothing kind of person. If I can’t do things perfectly in the way they should be done (whatever that means), then I won’t do it at all.

This is a nice reminder that doing that doing something small for yourself is better than doing nothing. Thank you!

The part on convenience is especially true. Sometimes we really just need things a little easier certain days

I enjoyed reading this and has only further emphasized the space that I have entered of listening to my body, especially through my cycle. That has so greatly helped me, but most importantly my family in our rhythm to not be overwhelmed, exhausted, frustrated and everything that I don’t want to be in being a woman, mother, wife, friend.

It’s true that we end up managing our lives as if we were managing a business…so it feels like work…

The whole purpose is basically living a life with minimal friction for anything or with anyone…🩶

I spend like 5 min a day doing one small reset or chore so everything doesn’t pile up on the weekend. So so helpful!

Every one of these is exactly on my newly forming habits. Not sleeping with my phone and getting out of bed were my first 2 and now I’m working on the rest.

These are great tips! Designing for our most tired, minimal version of ourselves is so important. I like to take little breaks throughout the day and do something without devices--stretch, read, etc.

Preparation for our Low energy self is the application of the Blue Peter method to our lives. Ie. “Here’s the one I made earlier” …and it really does make all the difference if we can recognise our high energy states in order to prepare for when we need to surrender. Much like life itself our energy and emotions will come in seasons, having the self awareness to recognise these sets us up well to weather it all.

Loved the tangible perspective you gave here 🥹👏🏼

Wow, thank you for writing this. It really resonated with me as an individual - I’m a mom, spouse, pet mom, physical therapist, entrepreneur.

I also see these points can be helpful and applicable for many of my patients with energy-limiting conditions. Pinning this one for a re-read and a share ❤️

Thank you so much for sharing these amazing points! I really love the preparing for the low-energy self idea. When we thrive and have high energy we almost forget that there’s also a version of ourselves that’s lower-energy… and that’s totally okay. Thinking of that version of ourselves and making sure she’ll get what she needs in that phase is really loving yourself. Also, upgrading what you use everyday feels like upgrading your life little by little and that’s such a sustainable change! Love it.

I’m really into a phase where I just want less in my life, less to think about so I can focus on the things that bring value in my life. I think that point number 4 is really about that, thank you for reminding me 🤍

Ah, those boring tasks like going through my mail and sorting them! I look at them as they pile up telling myself just do it daily as they come in but somehow….. you know the rest.
